Prezi Top 10 from 2013 from Prezi University

Just like last year we, from Prezi University, put together a Prezi Top 10. We want to share the most beautiful prezis we have seen in 2013 with you. So you’ll have enough inspiration to kick off 2014.

10. Save the Ocean

A beautiful prezi made by Guilherme Criscuolo.

9. MasterPeace

The MasterPeace prezi from Prezi Day 2013, which Ilco van der Linde presented, but complemented with voice overs from Ilco himself and the videos from his appearance at Prezi Day 2013. Of course you should visit the website from MasterPeace too and like the MasterPeace Facebook page!

8. Putting time in perspective

Winner of the Prezi Awards 2013 in the category ‘Best Zoom’ made by PreziJedi.

7. Pascal’s prezumé

A beautiful example of a curriculum vitae in Prezi, or a prezumé. Made by Pascal van Steen. For the insiders: He also attended Prezi Day 2013, but you probably haven’t recognized him!

6. A Total Disruption

It can take a while before this one is fully loaded, but absolutely worth it!

5. Turn on the poetry

It is that I’ve won the TED-Prezi contest, otherwise I would’ve wanted this prezi to win. This was my favorite. Made by Marcos Xalabarder from Presentationes.biz.

4. The Mercenary

This prezi is used as a teaser for the new magazine EPIC from co-founder Joshua Davis.  The Mercenary is a tale of love, gold and guns  and you can read it for free.

3. Is There Life Out There?

Sara Seager, astrophysicist and planetary scientist at MIT, used this prezi during her presentation ‘A Real Search for Alien Life’ for TEDxCambridge. Just watch it!

2. Image of 2013

Our last prezi made in 2013! This prezi is received really well at the Prezi community and has a place at the Today’s 15 Most Popular Prezis page on Prezi.com and has been watched for already 20.000 times. Of course I’m proud at our team for inventing, collecting all of the information, the simple but beautiful design and the cool effects in Prezi!

1. The Decade of Data

I think this is an amazing prezi. A real prezi-prezi, so with specific Prezi characteristics and less use of well made graphic objects or animations. Finally a prezi with a beautiful (!) use of frames in a way to complete the whole picture. There’s also well reflected on the overview. You see this at the end of the prezi or when you click on the ‘house’ on the right side. The used 3D background is in accordance with both the context of the presentation and the other parts of the design and has exactly that extra touch which gives this prezi an extra visual effect. The prezi doesn’t only look good from the outside, also the context is worth it. Professor Alex ‘Sandy’ Pentland from MIT Human Dynamics Laboratory  used this prezi for his presentation ‘The Decade of Data’. Watch also the video of his presentation here. It’s definitely worth it!

No, of course I won’t place my own prezi first place. Even though I’ve won the worldwide TED-Prezi contest in 2013 with this prezi. But it can’t be missing at the same time. So as a reward (definitely!) my winning prezi IDENTITY, based on the TED talk We need to talk about an injustice from Bryan Stevenson. Do you want to know more about this prezi and the competition? Read my blog we won the TED prezi contest.
